Tartan and Herbadent dominated the Superfinal!

Historically first Czech Floorball Superfinal ended with organizational and spectators success and also with the triumph of the defenders of last year title. Herbadent SJM Praha 11 won the women category and men category was overruled by Tatran Střešovice.

The entire program of Floorball Superfinal 2012 started with the game of junior teams of Prague and Moravian-Silesian region in term of ISOLINE cup, which was dominated by Prague team with score 7:4.

The finalists of women elite category started at 2 p.m. in front of 5 000 fans. It was a reprise of two last final series between Herbadent SJM Praha 11 and FbŠ ROPRO Bohemians. Despite the fact, that it was played for one and only winning game for the first time, the grooves didn’t change. Herbadent won 6:2 and could celebrate sixth title in a row.

The only two teams that managed to win the title in men category competed from 5 p.m.. Dramatic match between Tatran Omlux Střešovice and 1. SC WOOW Vítkovice ended 4:4 in regular time and the first Superfinal in history went to the extra time. 7 877 fans enjoyed just 2 minutes and 38 seconds of it, when Tatran’s captain Milan Fridrich scored his third goal and managed the first superfinal title for Tatran!

We can say that Floorball Superfinal went very well and we can already look forward to the battles of Czech champions at the Czech Open 2012.
