The Swiss national team overcomes Vítkovice and wins G18 gold
Despite wavering when playing Chodov, they were great the whole tournament. The Swiss junior women's national team earns gold in a keen battle with the unrelenting squad from Vítkovice with a final score of 4:2. As has been stated by the Swiss national team's coach, Aldo Casanova, the team arrived to Prague Games to prepare for May's juniors championship, and as it turns out, they are prepared well.
However, they haven't entered the match really well – they allowed their opponents to take the lead as early as the third minute. They managed to score an equalizer soon though and until half-time, the scoreboard stayed at 1:1. Then, 30 minutes into the game, the fun started – the first to score was Vítkovice's Husková, but Siegenthaler immediately responded with a goal of her own. Then came two successive goals from Huhn and it was these three strikes that were too much for Vítkovice to catch up with.
