PLAYING SYSTEM

 

B12 Category (40 participants)

There are 10 groups, each with 4 teams. The teams in groups play the round-robin schedule to qualify in the play-off (1/16). The first two teams in a group and four teams which place 3rd in the predefined groups qualify directly. The rest of the teams play a preliminary round for the remaining spots in the play-off. The loosing teams from the preliminary round play one more match - The Last Match. After the initial play-off matches the winner continues in tournament tree A and the losing team continues in tournament tree B. The play-off then continues as direct elimination in both tournament trees. In the semifinals the defeated teams from A and B won't play against each other, the teams from the tournament tree A are awarded bronze directly after the semi-final match.

 

B13 Category (48 participants)

There are 12 groups, each with 4 contestants. The teams in groups play the round-robin schedule to qualify in the play-off (1/16). The first two teams in a group qualify directly. The rest of the teams play a preliminary round for the remaining spots in the play-off. The loosing teams from the preliminary round play one more match - The Last Match. The play-off then continues as direct elimination in both tournament trees. In the semifinals the defeated teams from A and B won't play against each other, the temas  from the tournament tree A are awarded bronze directly after the semi-final match.

 

B16 category (48 participants)

G14 category (24 participants)
